 Theodore Roosevelt and

the River of Doubt!

Theodore Roosevelt was upset sense he got an embarrassing lost in a campaign, so he took him and his son Kermit Roosevelt to brazil in the rain forest. Theodore heard by some native about a river called the River of Doubt. They said that it was a unknown river. Theodore, Kermit, and a small group of men decided to explore the river. From the beginning of the journey everything went wrong. Little did he know that the river was in the wildest and the darkest places of the rain forest? It was suppose to only be a tour but it turned out to be a survival expedition. While exploring the river he cut his leg on a rock and got a life threatening bacteria. The whole time he had been caring a lethal amount of Morphine. He clutched the bottle in his hand and decided at that moment that it was time to take his life but he didn’t. the trip almost killed him. When he got home he wrote a book called “Through the Brazilian Wilderness.”
